A thick, creamy, inflammation fighting milkshake made with coconut milk, bananas, and turmeric.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup canned full fat coconut milk
- ½ cup almond milk
- 1-2 frozen bananas
- 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- ¼ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of ground cinnamon, adjust to taste
- Pinch of sea salt, adjust to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, adjust to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Using a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Adjust all seasonings to taste.
- Enjoy immediately and garnish with optional toasted coconut and additional dashes of cinnamon.
