Embodiment as a Path to Creativity and Authenticity with Ryan Oelke

Through embodied meditation and compassionate self-inquiry, this class will  explore how to befriend creative blocks and access deeper, more vibrant energy to bring into our creativity and lives. With gentle curiosity we can more clearly see limiting patterns and beliefs, reveal our deepest inspiration, and liberate our creative gifts. By trusting the wisdom of our bodies, we naturally cultivate authenticity within ourselves and what we create and bring into the world. 

Ryan Oelke is a co-founder of Buddhist Geeks and founder of Awakening in Life. A contemplative teacher of awakening, healing, and embodiment, he holds an MSEd in counseling psychology. . He has 18 years experience in meditation, particularly in the Tibetan Buddhist and Dzogchen lineages. He is also a certified teacher in Judith Blackstone’s Realization Process. Ryan teaches meditation and a way of living dedicated to revealing natural presence and awakening in each moment of our lives.

There is a suggested donation of $5 for non-members. Donations will go to our monthly non-profit beneficiary.

Please note that the event will be held in the Glen Rock Community Room at 372 Depot Street, Asheville, NC 28801. This is at the top floor of the building where our clinic is located. It’s easiest to enter from Ralph St., directly behind the clinic, around the corner from PennyCup Coffee. Look for the ramp entrance, then take the elevator to the top floor.
