Community Event: French Broad River Cleanup

   Integrative Family Medicine of Asheville will be partnering with Asheville GreenWorks for a private French Broad River cleanup! We will be cleaning from Craven St. Bridge to Silver-Line Park in Woodfin. Please utilize parking
along Craven St. if lot is full.

Asheville GreenWorks will supply kayaks and canoes, along with tools, and safety
gear for the trip. Participants will be in the water for this river cleanup, so please
come equipped with swimwear, quick-dry shorts, and tops. River sandals,
Chacos, water socks, or old sneakers are recommended; bare feet, flip-flops, or
slides are prohibited. We suggest participants be aged 13 or older. Remember to
bring a towel for the journey home. No prior paddling experience is necessary for
this cleanup event. We’re excited to join you in the water!
